REVENUE MANAGER
The most important responsibility is to provide quality, value-added professional oversight and execution of revenue generation strategy that meets or exceeds hotel brands, ownership, and guest expectations for multiple full and select service properties in the Janko Hospitality portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but not limited to, are the following (other duties may be assigned):
Initiate short- and long-term revenue forecasts and generate weekly and monthly critiques, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability.
In-depth knowledge of transient, group and catering segments and skills in researching market presence for individual properties.
Strong personal time management, communication and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of revenue management concepts, processes and systems, advanced revenue management techniques and the ability to communicate these concepts to others.
Prepare for and conduct weekly Revenue Management meetings involving rate and inventory strategies, transient/group pace, competitive business analysis and financial forecasts.
Understanding of brand strategies and cultures and how to integrate these into revenue plans for individual properties.
Development of pricing strategies in each assigned property considering individual “personalities” of each hotel and market, with forecasting of end results, changes, and comparisons to budget expectations.
Management and oversight of all channel mix including third-party distribution and analysis of group business strategies.
Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.
Prepare and outline, support, and participate in the annual top line revenue budget process.
Conduct regular hotel visits to get first-hand market knowledge and build rapport with hotel teams.
Qualifications
Have at least 3 years of revenue management experience and multi-property experience required.
Marriott and Hilton certifications in OYv2, CI/TY, GRO and Hilton R&I is a must.
IHG and/or Hyatt Certification a plus.
Must have experience supporting Full Service with extensive meeting space.
Must have Forecasting experience.
Strong ability to make data driven decisions.
Have strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Have a strong ability to communicate complex ideas.
Have a strong working knowledge of TravelClick products.
